Amazon or clickbank?

Hey guys, don't you think the commision of amazon is a little low? only 4% commision? so if i'm selling a 100$ product I get only 4$ for it ?
But if im selling a product in CB i can get up to 70% ..

It seems that Amazon is way better.. or is it just me ?

    the thing with amazon is that no matter which product the buyer buy you'll get credit for it...i agree its too low, but chances are people would buy more from amazon rather than thru CBs merchant....

    Is it creating a cookie on someone computer after he clicked my link? and what if he clicked later on someone else affiliate-link?

    Also how long does the cookie stays ?

      It only starts at 4%. If you sell about 7 items in a month then it increases to 6% then increases to 6.5% if you sell about 33 items.

      The cookie stays for 24 hours. If the visitor later clicks on someone elses affiliate link then it overrides your cookie and they get the commision instead of you.

    It does seem low at first but the trick is to do good volumes by promoting various products in several niches. One the visitor clicks through to Amazon he could buy anything for which you will get credit.

    Clickbank has much higher commissions but has a high rate of refunds as well. Though some people do prefer digital products most prefer shopping for physical products which have far more need than digital products.

    I like ClickBank products more but it sucks as an affiliate because of the refund rates. I definitely agree that there's more trust with amazon as well

    Firstly, Clickbank is what every made it out to be, it's crap....

    Try out Amazon and it that doesn't work (convert well), then give them searches some ads to click (adsense)...
