Trouble with Amazon Affiliate site ranking/getting indexed by Google

I have recently started up an authority blog/review site for Amazon Affiliates. It took a day for google to index my site (I simply googled the site name) and another day for google to index my "About Me' (I searched "site:mywebsite.com").

The problem is, none of my articles are being indexed. I have published 6 articles in the three days it has been online and none of them are showing up.

Do I simply have to be more patient? Am I missing something?

All my articles are being pinged by pingler. I have yet to set up OnlyWire. Is that really important?

I think OnlyWire is a bit expensive, IMO. Try LinksAlpha for something similar. Their free version is better than OnlyWire's. Instead of having a submission limit there is a limit to having 5 sites and 5 social networks, unlimited submissions. It's enough to get you started.

The paid version is also cheaper than OnlyWire. Not as many social networks to add, so that is a drawback.

Other than that, yes, be patient and maybe tweet it or something.

Thanks for your help I will definitely look into link alpha as an alternative. Are there any other ways to promote / help rank my reviews? I have heard about creating back links but I'm not sure how or if it is a good idea. Any thoughts?

What does your Google Webmaster account show? Is your sitemap good? Is your website interlinked properly?

I would say go ahead and start link building. That'll speed up the process. Drop some social bookmarks and a few comments.

Yes, the social bookmarking is what gets you indexed.

I have just started linkbuilding with Onlywire and I am seeing some traffic from Facebook and Stumbleupon (sadly no conversions yet). I am using a plugin to develop both an XML sitemap and a regular sitemap.
How would you recommend I linkbuild (besides Onlywire)

I have started doing that (yesterday) and I am seeing more visitors. However, I am still not getting indexed. Impatient or am I doing something wrong?

More impatient than anything. I can't comment on other linkbuilding as I don't do it. My links come naturally from sites like slickdeals, woot, etc.
