Penguin biteing WordPress SEO?

I have a few websites but not enough to get a good spread of data. So I hope that you can all help me out here.
I have a couple of WordPress blogs, and few HTML sites created with XSitePro.
The WordPress sites seem to be losing PR since the Penguin update but the HTML sites are still riding steady. I created all the sites so the content, rate of updates & all are similar.
The question is: Is this a sign that Google is hitting on SEO'd blogs?
