Linking up Adwords and Analytics Account

Hi guys,
My Google Analytics account and Google Adwords account are with different gmail email ids. When I try to see the Adwords related information in my Analytics account, it doesn't show up anything. I have tried all the possible ways (even took the help of professionals) to linked these accounts but was unsuccessful.
Can anyone of you please help in linking these two accounts?
