Problem with placing Backlinks

I've just discovered that for one of my blogger websites I am not able to leave backlinks on any wordpress sites (I haven't checked blogger yet).

For a couple of days I was wondering whether my backlinks were getting rejected by the webmaster. But I've just done a bit of an experiment on my own wordpress site to find that I definitely can't leave a backlink from one of my 2 blogger sites.

For the sake of being accused of being a spammer, I'll call them ww.website1.com and ww.website2.com

When I try and leave a comment from ww.website1,com, I go through the usual process of leaving a comment, then name, email, and website backlink in the relevant boxes. Then when I click enter, the page refreshes and there is nothing there.

I do the same process with my details from ww.website2.com and click enter and my comment appears.

On doing research leaving links on my own wordpress site, I have discovered by changing the name, the email and the website backlink, that it is the website backlink for ww.website1.com that doesn't work.

I basically tried different Names and emails in the relevant boxes along with different Websites, and it is only ww.website1.com that won't work in the Website box.


I hope I have explained this clearly?

If anyone else has experienced this and can help I would be very grateful as it is holding up my backlinks effort at the moment.
