Help, My site is on page 15 of google!

I consider myself a newbie to SEO and internet marketing. I started my website a month ago and I have been trying to do my own SEO to get on the first page of search engines. I was able to get on the first page of yahoo quickly, but it was my thank you page.


So I had that page taken down and I have been building links like crazy. I checked for my website and found it on the 15th page in google. So far I have:

Changed my copy and pinged it.
Started a blog with links to my site and up date weekly,then pinged.
Video SEO on five different sites
Picture SEO on flickr, and photobucket
Building backlinks on FBbook, Myspace, Youtube,Vimeo,Flickr, Dailymotion, related blogs, forums post and signature, ebay about me page, 4 articles so far (more on the way), and everywhere I can post a link.

Is there anything I can do, some SEO methods to supercharger my efforts getting on the first page of google, yahoo, and, bing for free?

    Half of those platforms are no-follow my friend. . And if you site is the one in your signature you need to fix the on-site thing.

    Look mate, if you keep making new content and keep promoting it through social media and web 2.0 sites you will get there eventually. It is not a matter of building links, it is a matter of building content which people will want to link to.

    This is called link bait.

    What is the keyword you are targetting? If it's "credit cards", then there's a reason you're on page 15.

    If it's a new domain, it may bounce around a bit for a few months.

    Don't panic, or you'll panic yourself into doing something silly, like ending up with a fiverr gig of spammy links pointing at your home page.

    I had a new site that was all over page 1 and 2 of Google, so I experimented and had 1000 links blasted at the home page. That baby disappeared. I searched 10 pages of Google then gave up. Gone.

    You know what brought it back? Adding plr articles consistently and gradually, like 2 every few days. Content. Quality, readable content.

    Bookmark your Web 2 content (tier 2 links) so you've got a bit of tier 2 stuff going on.

    See how you go. My site is now at 4 on page 1 for my keyword. Not the site in my signature btw.

    lol... I have one backlink source that I have use to gain page 1 to 2 ranking in two weeks and guess what I just build links like for a couple hours and the wait the two weeks for result.

    This backlink source has pop up on the forum at least 5 from the year started, I have use it on 20+ websites and the result is still the same page 1 or two ranking guarantee for competition under 200,000
