I have just completed my 7search campaigns. 200 Clicks= Conversions NIL
90 Clicks= No conversions
103 Clicks= No Conversions
127 Clicks=No conversions.
I was promoting a cpa offer and clickbank "satellite direct "

Would any one care to tell me where I went wrong? and what I need to do to correct it?

Never used it but from reading the varies threads regarding 7search, 1 out of 10 claim to do well with it. Then there is the whole landing page, does it work, does it get someone to act?

btw, I have experience with CPA yet.. just what I read

For 7Search I would recommend staying always from lengthy sales pages when starting out.

    Go with a CPA offer.

Don't get me wrong, you can make that work just do some more testing. But I recommend switching to CPA.

it is hard to say, it maybe the landing page, it maybe the traffic.

Without seeing your sales page or your keywords it's hard to say.

One of the main problems with people who try to make money with CPA offers do so by targeting huge keyword lists. Try to keep your lists small and extremely targeted. I make it a habit to target CPA offers around brands and only target those keywords bidding only 1 cent per click even on keywords which have the red and yellow flags. If I'm still not getting enough impressions I'll increase the bid on the red and yellow flags by 1 cent.

Also use CPA incentive offers in conjunction with a sales letter or review with a free download relating to the product. People sign up for the free download, your auto reply email will state something along the lines of "in order to get your free download please complete "state how many offers" offers below.

Incentive campaigns will usually notify you when they have been completed, at which stage you can set up your responder to automatically send out the free download.

It does sounds like a bit of work, but it can make all the difference between throwing money down the drain or earning through PPC. Remember, you have to make people want to complete the offer to get the free download.

The right keyword phrases can MAKE or BREAK your campaign. I spent over $40,000 in AdWords campaigns one year before I got them optimized to bring a 1:1 profit. That means for every $1 spent, I would make $1. It's NOT easy, that's why so many people fail at it. Unfortunately, there's no easy answer for you, especially not knowing any of your campaigns, landing pages OR keywords (not that I'm asking you to tell us in an open forum).

It's important that you track everything with 7Search so you can remove bad performers. Yes, you've had 200 clicks, but from how many different sources for how many different keywords? If you have 1 keyword and 1 source that have sent you 90% of your traffic, you should blacklist that source and move on to building up traffic with your other keywords/sources

if you are tracking the keywords and sources. that its good.
Now you can see that which clicks/referrers are not bringing you the conversions.
    block them.
Just keep doing this until you are left with only the converting keywords and also the converting sources/referrers.

When I use PPC (Adwords and Bing), 200 clicks Is usually not enough for me to decide If my keywords, landing pages, or offers are profitable.

I let my test campaigns run for 5 days, $35.00-$70.00 a day (depending on the keywords). Then during that period (mostly after) I weed out the bad keywords I no longer want to keep, and make adjustments to my pages and offers accordingly.

You have to put yourself In the buyers shoes. You simply can't just pick offers that pay the most, or you will never make a lot of sales.

You know, I have never really had much success on 7Search. Granted, the last time I ran anything with any budget on there was years ago, back when I still had faith in zip submits not getting scrubbed to death.

It was always a money sink for me. I got a couple campaigns close to profitable on it, but it took a lot of removing of bad website.

Here are the most common mistakes I see with people and 7search:

    They don't optimize it.

    1. Make sure you add NEGATIVE keywords daily.

When you click on 'campaigns' (on the upper right hand side) then locate the small bar graph on the right hand side of the bar graph, you'll see what people typed in to click on your ad on that day, and for that keyword.

Make sure you're adding the negative keywords requisite to make sure you're keeping your traffic optimized.

    2. Make sure you're doing a phrase bid.

To make it easy, go to your keyword list, and click on the empty box next to 'keywords'. Then click 'edit'. Then, at the bottom of the popup, put a 'zero' in the broad bid to do a mass edit, so you don't have to do them one-by-one.

    3. You need to optimize you Ads themselves, and this is where you need to do some leg work.

Don't rely on your 'default ad'.

Make sure EVERY keyword has a custom title and body.

The title needs to be a call-to-action with the custom keyword.
The description needs to be a call to action with an incentive. Additionally, you need to have the custom keyword here as well to show relevancy. If you put a symbol at the beginning of the description (like a number, dollar sign, etc,) this has proven to increase a CTR and help improve quality traffic since they know how much the item is without 'sticker shock'.

Bottom line is, you need to manage and optimize your keywords and campaigns - and these 3 things are the biggest common mistakes I see with 7 search.

    Hope this helps!

Have you turned your sub id blocking? There are lot of junk traffic that comes out in 7 search initially, u should be in a postion to block them.... once u block them , then u will start seeing good results...
Pass on ur credentials and i can have a look at ur campaign and suggest you, what else has gone wrong.
