A problem regarding keyword denisty, I need your seggestions!

I wrote new post of 488 words witth my main keyword approximately 14 times in the entire post (5.14%)..

My questions ..

Is this considered unusual or within the normal range?

    Your keyword density is 2.86%.. this is okay. Normal range is between 1.5-3.0%. Calculation written below:

    (No.of Keywords*100) / (Total No of Words)

    I hope this will be help you to calculate your KW density.

        Yeah i forget about LSI keyword.. Use LSI keyword if you really want to target 14 keywords.. You can use this site - Latent Semantic Indexing

    In 2012 we call that keyword stuffing, lol.

    The same keyword mentioned 14 times on a single page is extremely obvious, especially a page with less than 500 words.

    Instead of keyword stuffing, use LSI keywords.

        No, what he said was use LSI keywords instead of using the same main keyword 14 times in a 500 word article which is called keyword stuffing in 2012.

Instead of repeating the same keyword again and again, use the power of Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) which makes use of related words ex- synonyms avoiding the repetition of the same word. This makes your content easier to read and makes it more effective. Properly written user friendly content is often in terms with LSI.

    Avoid keyword stuffing- Keyword stuffing means using the same keywords again and again in the content of your webpage. Ideal keyword density is around 3%

    Write user friendly content- Do not create content for the purpose of search engines. Write for your audience. Now more factors matters in ranking like bounce rate and quality rating. Writing quality content for your users would be the best thing to do. You must forget about all these tactics and just concentrate on your users so that when they visit your site, they must feel good and should not leave the site instantly.

    Your keyword density is 2.86% instead of 5.14% you have mentioned.And it is the suitable keyword density and in range.Your keyword density should be between 1-3%.
    So i guess there is no problem in regarding your density and yes if you want to still lower it then LSI keywords is the solution.

    it is more. For a 500 words article, it's best to repeat the keywords only about maximum 10 times

    It depends on site at which you posting. Each site has its own keywords density limit. For example ezineartilces.com- 2.4, goarticles.com - 4.12. Some has no limit.
