Hi Warriors,

I am reading some information and come through the term Breadcrumb navigation.....can anybody tell me what it is exactly.??

    Hi, breadcrumb navingation is the means for telling the visitor exactly where the are within your site. A good example is given at the top of every page within this forum
    Warriorform>The Warrior forum>Adsense/PPC/SEO>This Page
    home>subsection>subsection of subsection>this post
    This format allows your visitor to go back one or more steps at a time and always know where they are within the site. Breadcrumb is the term for seeing where they have been and the path to go back. Jim

    A path (mainly at top left of a page) that show your location within a site. It starting from home and end at your current page.

    A breadcrumb is a navigational trail used on web pages to display where the page sits in the hierarchy of the website. Each level of the breadcrumb is usually a link back to the referenced page.

      Thanks Himanshi for the brief and exact definition of breadcrumb navigation.I daily see it but don't know what it is...ha ha i guess i have to build my vocabulary more.
