Organic Rankings Disappeared After Changing My Wordpress Theme...Suggestions?

Firstly, thank you everyone for taking the time to read this, I appreciate it.

About two weeks ago I started implementing a new Wordpress theme to my site which was receiving several thousand visitors from Google every month, this was through over 900 different queries.

Since changing the Wordpress theme my websites rankings have almost ALL disappeared, my site is still indexed and I still get approximately 10 visitors per day to my site from Google, but hardly anything significant.

The site is: Which Laptop - Independent Laptop Review Site

The old theme is still live on Which Electronics - The Latest Electronics & Gadgets Reviewed Independently

So you can compare the themes, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?

    You probably messed up something with on page stuff. Did you changed something on your on-page optimization? Did you re-installed & re-set your old plugins?

    Yeah I totally changed my on-page SEO, but it wasn't very good in the first place, if anything it's better now.

    I stopped using All in one SEO plugin and started using SEO Ultimate.

    Then there's your answer , changing titles / meta tags / etc will lead google to re-consider your rankings as you are presenting yourself with a different dress. You clearly did something bad or at least worse than before if google don't like your site anymore.

      Not always,sometimes just changing themes might results into traffic loss for 2 weeks. Build few good PR links,if you haven't done much on page SEO damage then you should be back within 2 weeks.

      Are you giving us an example or these are your sites? Because co.uk site I can't see pictures and stuff,looks like something is missing

    I agree with the above poster. Just changing a theme can result in you dropping down in ranking. ( It has happened to me). Then Google will need to decide where you rank, because your site has changed.

    It will usually rank again where it was in a few weeks. Don't get excited and hit it with a lot of backlinks to get it back up. That will dig you deeper. If you backlink, just a few good Pr backlinks at a time will do it.

    I opened up both sites. Your new one does look nicer, but it took about 5x longer to load. Specifically, the preview slide show you have at the top of the homepage.

    I tried checking your sites on Google Insights Page Speed.
    Which Electronics - The Latest Electronics & Gadgets Reviewed Independently shows a score successfully, but when I try for your new site Which Laptop - Independent Laptop Review Site it says "The website specified cannot be reached."

    Whatever is causing that is probably your main problem. Have you checked your Webmaster Tools for any messages?
    Try fetching your pages using "Fetch as Google"

    Your robots.txt seems fine, except for maybe the cloaked affiliate links you have blocked the crawlers from. I am not sure if that is the problem, though.

    For a common amazon site, I don't think you need to go as far as using cloaked links and blocking the crawlers.
