You can pound web 2.0 with as many backlinks as you want because their rank is solidified in the search engine then the link juice flows from there to your site.

It looks more natural and won't penalize you because all those links are pointing at the web 2.0 and not your site directly.

This is the right answer. If I had to only pick one, I would pick the one that has the highest domain authority. Normally this is the one that has the highest homepage PR.

Web 2.0 Hands Down. I love them because I can blast them over and over and they aren't going to ban the root domain, never had any issues. A solid Web 2.0 network will do wonders.

You can end up wasting all of your months of buffering to these, the instant the web2.0 or the wiki dies or they just remove your content.

Its better you get yourself real domains or even better high PR domains and use them as real blogs or as what you are referring to as buffer here. That way you will have full control of the content you place, the links you put , number of outbound links and ofcourse no risk of losing your efforts.
Plus your will have your own niche blog network that will be highly targeted.
What your saying is very interesting. Can you explain a little deeper? What do you mean by "real domains" or "high pr domains". I mean I know what a high pr domain is, but do you mean an already established website that has good credibility? and if thats what you mean how would I begin to make a blog on someone else's site?

The problem with web 2.0 kind of sites is that they have lots of other outbound links which you can't control. So , if you build links to them and even manage to get a PR , you are not going to receive enough link juice which gets diluted among other links that exist on that page. Say for example you have your links on a page on wordpress which has a high PR. There will be so many links to wordpress itself on that page and you can't control them. That way you are getting only a fraction of link juice from that page. While if you have you own blog say.www.xxxx.xom you can control what links exist on a particular page and you can avail 100% link juice to your money site.

Secondly , you never know when a web2.0 turns its outbound links to nofollow,Like perhaps tumblr did recently. In case you had web2.0 page with your links on it and you managed to built links enough to get a high pr and suddenly the site turns to be nofollow , all you efforts are ruined.

Third, many web2.0 sites don't prefer 1 page accounts meant just to get a link , so you never know when you content with your link is deleted leaving you ruined again.

So , if you really want to use buffer sites than go get some domains registered, put some content with your links on them and start bulding links to those sites. By "real domains" i meant generic top TLD , like you own site.com , site2.com etc where you have full control.

You can also research and find some high pagerank domains which are available on auctions etc. Make blogs out of they and That way you get instant link juice to your money sites.
wow, thanks for the knowledge. One more question, I don't mean to bombard you. Let's say I have my money site which is about sneakers, and I have 4 other blogs that belong to me. In order for me to get link good link juice from my other sites do they have to be relevant to sneakers as well?

In your case you can create a blog network of sites around "fashion". That way you can accommodate links for snicker site , apparel , sunglasses and all. Create a network of sites around a broad niche.

Or if you have micro sites in different niches then you can may be create a network of say bookmarking sites or something more generic like latest trends ( now that can accommodate gadgets , apparel and all).

I hope you get my point.
I definitely get your point, thanks again.
