I know im going to get flamed for asking this but here we go lol.

I currently dont spin and get about 6-8 articles indexed every time i submit them to 10 places. Would it be worth it to spin it to 30 percent and submit to 10 places? By that i mean would it increase the number that gets indexed or not?

I tried to search for the answer and didnt really come up with one

You will get lots of answers to this question and I doubt any of them will be the complete true answer. My opinion as a writer is that I NEVER spin anything, regardless of the purpose.
I can rewrite an article to pass copyscape within 15 mins so why risk problems?
But of course others will offer you different answers so it's up to you to make your own decision.

Im a writer as well and have dragon speak so i can write a good article in about 8 min, then editing and such will probably bring it closer to 12-15. I just wanted to get more bang for each article but if its not worth it its not worth it

I also have Dragon and sometimes use it too. As I said, that is only my opinion. I am sure other people will share theirs as well.

Have you every bothered to do a double take at the pathetic quality of spun articles - regardless of what people say? People forget that running an online biz is akin to running a brick n mortar biz. Would you have bum products or services in a physical store? Then why should you think that you can have crappy copy on your website - or anywhere else? Are people who come online so naive??

    Best wishes and regards

I agree with Ric. I have seen some appalling spun articles BUT I have also seen some articles that are supposedly written by good writers with more errors than good content.

Back to reality. The internet runs on spun and copied content.

The choice is yours. Whatever gets you the best bang for
      the buck.

Not sure why people panic over such nonsense.

Spinning is great. It works in very strategic places.

      One example:

All of my dot coms are connected to a blogspot and twitter.
I choose one article on a dot com, spin it down to about
25%, make a blog post with it, link it to the dot com
article for "more info." Then tweet that, ping that, post
a link in a forum, etc.

      Wash, rinse, repeat.

If you have no ideas for a blog post, spin one of your
      articles.

Spinning also works for a squidoo lens, which I also do,
and have made well over 130 lenses, all pretty much
spun from my dot com articles.

      Now that's how spinning works.

I've stopped submitting articles to sites that I
      don't run.

But spinning in and of itself, is not bad.

I get a free Sunday newspaper. Each time, I get
a half dozen articles to spin and blog about.

My inbox on my desk is full of stuff to spin starting on
Monday. I see a good article on yahoo, bookmark for
      spinning later.

      Spinning works.

I also spin within spinning. Use 2-3 set articles, combine into
a shorter one. Mix them around, etc.

The problem is, most of us can't do that. That's why we look for alternatives. Dragon is great and greatly reduces the time I spend "writing," but I still can't produce an article in 8 minutes, or even 15 minutes--or even 30 minutes! I wish I knew how important it would be to develop the skill of writing so many years ago.

Once you study your subject for a long time all you need is topics or idea's and you can blurt out great idea's/articles. Something i do is act like you are talking to someone and explaining it to them.

Explain how pc tv works and some of the benifits would be an example.

Those are a few good ideas I hadn't considered. Here's another one I'm doing:

Go to Google Translate. Input your keyword phrase. Convert to Spanish or German (or whatever).

Now take that keyword in another language and paste it in Google.
        Click on "More"
        Click "Blogs"
Scroll through the blogs and grab an article and convert it to English.

If you use it as is, it passes copyscape! I'm not sure if Google can tell it's been plagiarized, so I always spin it.

I would spin to 60%+ (which you can do automatically while still having a perfectly readable article) and submit those articles.

If you are going to spin, do it only for content you don't care much about. Content used to create links to your site. These will typically not be high quality links.

Never spin content for your money site.
