Hello,

I would like to know if there is any technique that can be used to rank a taxi fare calculator website in most of the metropolitan cities in the US and Canada.
example of site that my customer want to have is worldtaximeter.com and taxifarefinder and taxiwiz.

How would he be able to reach a good ranking for a lot of cities and different keyword?

    For instance, taxi fare calculator in Canada. And put your business on different big local directories.

      You could build different pages for all the different major metropolitan cities to start with and use specific keywords on each page with on page SEO to do that.

      For example if you were to use New York, you would use the keyword like "Taxi Fare Calculator New York" and have a page just for that city. (Since some cities fares differs allot in some cases.)

      Then you would make a page for it like so:

      "http://www.worldtaximeter.com/taxi-fare-calculator-new-york/"

      Of course you might have to do some backlinking, but if your keyword is extremely low competition and you use the main keyword as well as some other LSI keywords in your on page SEO, you could probably rank in page 1 of google with little or no backlinking at all! Hope it helps.

    Search for all possible keywords that you can use. What I usually do when targeting specific place is that I am making the keyword like this : "criminal lawyer in Reno, Nevada" or something like that.

    The case is you will come up with a keyword that is so specific that mostly don't have any search results in Google Adwords tool or other keyword tool out there. But it will be easier for your potential passengers to find you if you have chosen the right keywords added by a specific place.

    well its tuff task to get good ranking on SERP with lot of cities as well as different keywords. you can surely achieved good ranking no SERP with this kind of web site but you demand ranking with lot of cities and different keyword so for that you need to do more quality work according to other cities & keyword.
