.pro? .eu? Any good for SEO?

Hi all,

I'm currently looking for some keywords to compose a new domain name - that's for a website that was only in French so far and I am currently working on its English translation. I'd like something capable of helping my SEO, preferably.

I think I've found an interesting one but the .com is already taken. Would a .pro or .eu be worth it?

Thanks.

Seb.

I have acquired a fair few .co domains recently and they seem to rank very well, maybe see if you can get one of them!

Both are top level domains. Ya if you can get .co then it would be great.

.pro stands for Professions. It was introduced for the professionals.

.eu stands for European Union. The .eu domain has become very popular in Europe. And it is more international than some of the country specific top level domains such as .be, .de, .co.uk, .es, .pl.

I think now you can easily choose either of them depending upon your profession and location.

I thought the .co was too easily associated with Columbia?

This is my main professional website (I run a small (simplified) company here in France) that's why I thought of the .pro. I'm probably going to pick this one.

    Thanks.

Do you use Facebook ? Then you can make money just by inviting people to a Facebook group ! It's called the Instant Income System. How cool is that?

The domain extension has nothing to do with how well it ranks.

The only exception to this is a .co.uk is less likely to rank in Google USA than Google UK etc

The .co domains is now a global domain

Actually for professional website is need a domain with .com.Though there are some site is acquiring PR1 with .co domain. But my thinking is to take a domain with .com and you have to select your name nearest to the main name.
