SEO tools mentioned in an SEO job post

I had a crappy Drupal site that was nothing more than a hobby blog. It had a page rank of about 3. My company (a big travel website) had a position for the SEO Director. I actually got an interview because of that stupid site. I have since decided to have a more serious site and see if I can transition into an SEO position at a big dot com. So here is the question...

I found a post for a job and they mentioned a bunch of tools I have never heard of on here or anywhere else. And they are super expensive. Curious if anyone has used them. If so, would love to hear anything you could say about them. Kinda seems odd that one company would use all these as a lot sound similar.

I am just going to suggest googling them, there is a wide array of information available that will go well beyond any post you get.

That was the first thing I did but most of them are services you have to pay for....and they are super expensive. Wondering if anyone has used any of them.

IBP is a piece of shit in my opinion. Hate it.

I use the rest of them. They are not all going to have the exact same data, so I like to use them all to see what additional info OSE might pull that Majestic doesn't, for example.

I would add SEO SpyGlass in there too. I prefer Rank Tracker over AWR, but AWR is great too. I use both to spot check my rankings and make sure I am getting accurate info.

You can't do professional SEO for long without having to deal with the top three on your list. You are going to come across Mozrank and thats out of SEomoz and Open site explorer is one of the very few back link databases open to the public. You can go without using Majestic SEO directly but the sheer amount of other tools that pull from their database will have you crossing their paths at some point.

Like MikeF IBP really doesn't come on my radar as a Professional SEO.

advanced web rankings and services like raven tools are also pretty standard in the corporate SEO toolbox.
