I use to go by reviews, until I tried a service which had more than a 100 pages of positive reviews and that same service got my site a unnatural links notice. Never judge by reviews. Do it yourself.

Try and use a Fiverr gig, but find a seller that has thousands of orders, all positive. Then, message him and ask him whether you can include 10-20 anchor texts and slowly drip them out. I'm sure they'll allow a dripfeed for an extra $5-$10, they'll do anything for cash.

Once the links are built, keep building and show google that you're gaining backlinks constantly. Don't just backlink blast and stop!

That is a gigantic myth that you have to build links consistently to rank well. Link velocity is BS.

Funny how fiverr always pops up when someone ask for good backlinks.

I always prefer to do it manually for my blog. Just can't trust other people. You never know where they can post your link.

There are several freelancers out there with backlinking experience. Try a few outsourcing sites like oDesk, Elance or Outsource Factor. Try interviewing a few people. The advantage to this is you could potentially find someone that can work for you long-term (at a reasonable rate) and you'd never have to worry about backlinking again. Win, win.

First, my advice is to avoid those spammy backlinks builder, hence today, when doing spammy backlinking, your site will be punished by Penguin, the latest Google update.

Second, if your site is new, I would advice to do it manually till you get something around 2000 unique vistors/month.

Yeah, go with the guy selling EDU and GOV links. That would be the exact opposite of smart.

I know a lot of people who would way rather get links than build sites so send me a PM if you're interested in finding a partner.

I use oDesk, it's great because everything is very easy to use. It takes periodic screen dumps of the contractors activity and gauges keyboard/mouse activity. After a week of work (where you designate an hourly limit) it just bills your credit card, no fuss. I'm sure Elance is similar but I've had a lot of success with oDesk.
