There are so many link building techniques that were discuss in this forum, I guess one of the most popular here is social bookmarking and article directories.

But topics about Guest blogging is very rear.

Many successful internet marketers and SEO practitioners is using the Guest blogging to get an authority back link from related niche.

One of the hardest way to get back link but one of the most effective way to build web presence and authority back links.

Those who are implementing this technique care to share tips how you get approve from big guys websites.

Check the search button as its been discussed many times...and it's obvious. Guest blog on related, quality blogs and you'll get yourself a link and related traffic. What else is there to discuss?

What you mentioned is the benefit but we both knew that it's not easy as what we think to get accepted from authority sites like searchengineland.com, searchenginewatch.com, seomoz.org in the SEO niche and applicable to other niche also.

What would you suggest, how to approach the owner of this kind of sites? So that the chances that you will be accepted as their guest blogger.

No offense, but just looking at your thread, it's clear your grammar and writing style isn't good enough to get accepted on any of those sites.

They aren't even that hard to get a post on, but if you don't have a minimum writing ability and have something useful to say, just hire a native English speaker to write guest posts for you.

No worries mate... I know that . It's not my first language anyway. I'll be shameful if you will tell me that I am not good in Tagalog and you're better than me .

BTW, care to share some of you success guest blog post to those authority sites in your niche. I love to see and share your art of works, I want to learn from you.

you have to follow the blog owner in order to make a request. establish a relationship with him. if you do a little bit of research about a blog you'll find lots of information about the owner. follow him on twitter, facebook or any other social media. comment on his blog frequently as if you're a regular reader of the blog. if he replies on your comment, thats a great start. make sure that he knows you before you send him an email about your interest in writing a guest post for that blog.

Lets say i have a authority website(i wish ) and you wanted to write a post on my site. so you sent me an email just like the one mentioned above. chances are i wouldn't allow you to write anything on my site. why? who are you? do i know you? how can i trust you?
That's what I am saying , this is the reason why I love warriorforum.

It's not blog commenting, it's guest blog posting or guest blogging.

I agree, guest blogging is still a popular way to build backlinks. It just takes a little longer than some of the other ways and a lot of work. I personally think its not discussed much because unfortunately people want faster and easier ways to get things done. What you said is perfect, it is "one of the most effective" ways to get authority back links.

I've often wondered which would be more beneficial, to take the time to write a guest blog post for somebody else...or take the time to write an article for your own site?

As far as time is concerned I would rather just add content to my own blog.

I agree it is very hard to get accepted for a guest blog. You have to establish your credential first and then people will seek you. Or is this not true?
