Youtube on Site questions

Have a question in regards to this and im finding different info, so perhaps you warriors can help me on this.

I have a you tube channel for my site, channel name is my keyword(if matters or not).

I have a few short videos on my youtube channel about the site. Videos have short description with a link to site.
If I embed these videos on my site and add them to my video sitemap, will it affect my sites rankings at all?
I do have other YT vids on the site but not mine.

I heard no it wont it helps site, also read it can hurt it. (some info may be outdated unsure why I reading both).
If I add them do I keep the same title or change it. If same title for video on youtube could it be called dup. content even though it my vid?

Whats the answer to this, im lost?------ and Thank you.

    After re-reading my question, im seeing it didnt make much sense(at least to me). Probaly why no response's.

    If I take my youtube video's from my channel on put them on my site will it negatively effect my sites rank?
    Do I use the same title on my site for the video that I have on youtube or different?
