O.k so I have being doing affiliate market for a while now but I learnt more than I have earn ....

Anyways, back on the subject;

As the topic of the thread stated, would you buy a package of subdomains?

Considering than all of them are on page 1 mostly monetized by adsense, amazon, and clickbank (+ adsense).

What is the cost? How many do you get in a package? How much traffic are they getting?

Before I purchase anything I at least look and see if there's any ROI (Return on investment) to be had, as well as how long it will take me to recoup my original investment.

    Subdomains?
So I wouldn't own or control the main domain? Which you could still do whatever you wanted to?
    Zero.

It's little bit risky to buy sub domain sites if the main domain is not included in the package.

But, if those sub domains are already making money with good income history, I guess it's worth to take the risk.

How in the world are you planning on selling only a sub-domain?

    Are the sub-domains web 2.0 sub-domains/accounts?

Like already mentioned above, If you still own the actual domain, then your not selling a sub-domain, you'll be renting a sub-domain considering you can't own a self hosted sub-domain without owning the original domain.

Warriors, of course the domains in is included, but not much work was done to it.....
So the sub-domains have most of the weight...

Rather than buying Sub domains i prefer buying the main domain only if it has some worth and provide me ROI.

Anyone who went to the trouble of developing a subdomain, instead
of the main domain, man, I dunno. Then selling the package with a
      developed subdomain?

I can't even fathom why anyone would do such a thing.

Something is getting lost in translation here or something.

Are we mixing up sub pages with subdomains?

Are we mixing up a forwarded page?

      Something is amiss.

For example, if I owned whoknowswhat.com, why on earth
      would I create a subdomain like wtf.whoknowswhat.com,
and develop that, leaving the parent domain an orphan?

There are subdomain empires like go.com, zap2it.com,
about.com, even toss in wikipedia.org. But those are
empires of subdomains, NOT sites relying on one subdomain.

I probably could find one or two big sites that forward to
a subdomain, but even that is entirely different here.

I agree with Paul that something might have been lost in translation as it is clear that English isn't the first language for n0tr3v3, so it's quite likely that "sub-domain" isn't the correct term.

O.k I overstand what you both are saying. But look at it this way...

Last year when everything was fair and donie (I had like $500 us to invest), I invested a ton of time and money into clicking ads on Neobux (upgrading accounts, buying referrals etc) and the many other pay to click websites out there...

I was losing money big time, shit I was almost broke by December 2011... I remember clicking on an advertisement about Google Sniper, and there my interest was born for affiliate marketing...

Google sniper open my eyes to the world of affiliate marketing, I have learn a ton of stuff from it, the many other ebooks I have gather along the way, and forums, including this one.

Now, being use-to having free sub-domains on x10hosting.com (I love these guys), I learn about sub-domains.

Now picturing me having $14 to my name and two keywords that I want to target.... Instead of buy 1 domain that might not be profitable, I just brought a domain the is a brand name and created two sub-domains (and I have created more recently).

I haven't made enough money to develope the domain yet, I kind love the whole EMD, so hence why do just use that domain to target those keywords....

I have tried to keep it short as possible, since I am so busy.....

And mi not a n00b, I knew exactly what I was doing......

I guess you think the keyword in your subdomain is just as strong as an 100% EMD right?

    I don't know if that's true.

I would never fool myself into buying something I really do not have ownership of. If the first level domain is not mine I own nothing
