Hi,

I've never come across this problem before. I am unable to find where it gets my Google description for the front page.

If you search google for "Matchmaster" it's the first result (matchmaster.com.au) with the following description: "Supplier of television distribution systems for domestic and commercial applications. Australia and New Zealand."

But this content is not found on my page or in any meta code. Any ideas on where this is coming from and how I can change it?

Thanks!

It could be from ODP or other local directories. Your homepage meta description is only this: Matchmaster Digital TV Reception Systems. Google help you out on this and provide a most appropriate description to your website. If you want to change this you need to change your current description into something compelling that describe your page within a 155 char limit in most instances.

You current description is too short for Google.

    So I would fix this using a <meta name"description" content="">?

Also if this will fix it could I be adding any other meta data that Google loves? Any suggestions?
