Google Cache Not Updating?

I was wondering if anyone has notice that Google is not updating sites cache on search results for 2 or 3 weeks now.

It seems that all sites are stuck dated 17th, 23rd, 24th or 25th of August 2012. I did not only check the sites cache that I'm working on but also sites Cache of my competitors and it seems that all sites cache on the 1st page of Google has the same date.

On other hand Yahoo and Bing updated sites cache Last Sept. 4, 2012

What's going on with Googlebot?

      Basically, only Googlebot can update sites cache so no webmasters can be of help. Not unless if they are working on the snippets team of Google and had notice this post, then they might wonder why their bot is slacking of.

    Yes, you are correct Dokemion.

    Some of my sites are showing August cache dates and few of my sites are giving this message:
    "404. That's an error. The requested URL was not found on this server."

    So I am not the only one who is getting this kind of problem.

    For me when I do check internal pages they shows caches result but for homepage its showing 404 error.

    I am also noticing the same behavior. Just speculating, but this may be a precursor to a panda/penguin update.

      I think you should check for cache updating. It's working fine now.

      I have posted some posts in my blog and google is not indexing them from last 5 days and also not updating the post. I am facing the same problem in my both the blogs. From last 20 to 25 days i was facing this problem in my another blog but now i getting frustrated because of this.
