Why would I need other 3rd party proxies software/service to use ScrapeBox?

This has been a question that has been bothering and confusing me, as I'm not familiar with ScrapeBox...

There is a lot of talk about buying private proxy from sites like YourPrivateProxy.com and SquidProxies or ProxyBonanza to use ScrapeBox....but apparently ScrapeBox has a function/feature to be able to get proxies for you to be used.

So then would you need to get these 3rd proxies service/software when ScrapeBox can already get proxy to use for its ownself or other software like LinkRobot/AMR/Senuke?
#3rd #party #proxies #scrapebox #software or service

I thing you are talking about the proxy harvester and the proxy source.

If yes then let me explain you.

Those are public proxy, proxy that every SB user have access and more then that they do not have 100% up time or better said they have like 20% up time.

So.. those proxy are no use when you use them to harvest from search engine since most of them are block do to abuse or are dead.

Second if you use those for posting you will get a very low success rate.

SB fast posting mode work like this..

The programs try to connect via proxy to a webpage, to be more specific it ask for the content file if that proxy is not up in that specific time then the program will not be able to make the request and will end up by giving you a not found error.

The proxy provider you mentioned give you private proxy, that mean that you and only you can access those proxy and more than that those proxy have 100% up time, and more then that since you are the only one using them the connection speed increase.

Go and make a test to see what I'm talking about.

Get 1 or 2 private proxy since the price for that will be like 2-3$, take a small list like 300-400 links, links that you are sure that are app and post first using the public proxy and then using those 2 private proxy and then check the links (never trust the success number provided by SB fast poster) check them with the link checker and you will notice the difference.

P.S. Use two different test url for this test.

If you have any more question feel free to contact me.

It's pretty simple. The proxies available inside of Scrapebox are HORRIBLE for anything other than harvesting. And even then, there are plenty of other sources that can provide better public proxies for harvesting.

I never manage to harvest with those proxy and they are not so horrible, you can add extra sources and use those for PR checker and some few more function.

But never for posting and harvesting

They still have a pretty high failure / error rate. Although I guess the same can be said for any public proxy. But you can find better ones elsewhere. You can even get creative inside of SB and use the search harvester to find proxy sources. (The "results from 24 hours" option for Google is great for this.)

You should not comment via SB at all, it's one the worst IM practices.
