Question - is PPC good for launch?

I recall many years ago, in the early stages of combining PPC and SEO, there was a time when you could use a solid but SHORT PPC campaign to really get your site launched.

While of course I plan to use plenty of other strategies, is this still a reasonable method for attaining some exposure?

    PPC is good for launch but invest a little amount of first to understand its metrics in deep. Get your keywords right and know your niche. Otherwise it won't enable you to get the targeted traffic to the website.

    I prefer PPC when I need traffic within hours. SEO is great but it can take months to bring traffic. One can stop PPC when SEO start bringing traffic.
