Few questions about private blog networks

Hello,

I have few questions about private blog networks.

Let's say I want to build a private network of 20 sites.

1) Should I get completely different hosts for the 20 sites, or is it OK if put 5 of them in the same host, 5 of them in the same host etc.

2) Is hiding registrant information (behind domain) needed as well?

3) How do you find high PR aged domain? I have tried Expired Domains with PR, Backlinks and more completely FREE. Should I simply check for sites that have been deleted or expired and set my bidding? Of course I would do a bit background check to see if the PR is not fake, but what else should I look for?

Thanks

If they are cheap and don't have much Pr then you could do that but I don't go above two on a single Class C IP and if its over a PR3 - one

    Yes

There are a number of things to look for - fake PR, quantity of links. PR of links, link positioning, OBL of links, Kind of site link comes from, Link maturity etc. A service would be the best way to look. Register compass is probably the best and theres dropday for a little less. I've found expiredomains to be wildly innacurate with PR.

    Thanks[/QUOTE]

    Oh, thanks for your reply.

However, lets say I buy PR3 website that was previously "tech review site". Is it OK if I change the theme, delete the articles and start a completely new site in a different niche? Or should I stay in the same niche?

Let's say I buy a PR3 domain. Can I start posting backlinks immideately or should I add some relevant content as well without any outgoing links? How it should be balanced?

It's better to stay in the same niche, but you don't have to. What you should be most worried about with removing the content and deleting the old articles, is whether the sites linking to it will notice or not. The sites that link to it are what give it PR. If they notice it changed, and they remove their links, the PR will drop.

You can post immediately, but I like letting relevant content age for a week or two before starting.

    1. It really much depends on how footprint were left, c-class ip might be dangerous as that said, with a simple reverse ip check, you will be doom.

    2. Yes
