Google Ranking Dropped - Amazing Story

Hi Friends,
Last night when i checked my google ranking i was amazed that my google ranking for the keywords which were at number 1 has been dropped.
Someone downloaded my entire website and uploaded the same content(Exactly same content) on his website and now Wherever my pages were , they have been replaced by his domain.
My domain is 4 years old domain with good google ranking. How can Google do such? Someone copied my entire website (Even some of the pages of that site still contains my website name :-)) .
One of my website's page has 20000 views per month and let say page is
www.mywebsite.com/page34.html
Now when someone search that keyword in google, The top result is
www.hiswebsite.com/page34.html

Do you know why did such happen? Please help me in this regard.

    First find out If the guy stealing all your content is running Adsense, If he's running Adsense file a complaint directly with Adsense. Hit them in the pocket ($$) & they'll stop that crap (stealing content).

    Next file a complaint with Google (SERP listings) for the guy stealing your content & posting on his site.

    Google has a process to remove scraped content, I'm not sure If this is the only link/form you need? I think Google has another SERP removal form/link, you'll have to search for it.

    Again, hit them in the pocket first, If you don't, they'll be back to scrape again, or hit some other site/s.

      Oh my god! That is awful I bet you are so angry.

      You do need to report them, I cant imagine google would just allow this. Its dishonest.

      Im not sure if this would help but you can try and contact his hosting provider company and tell them and see if they would actually do anything.

    Or try grabbing his name and address from whois information. Write a very formal letter or email to him giving him XX amount of days to remove all your content from his website and threaten court action on him.

    It could scare him enough to listen

      People that scrape entire sites like this don't care about threats, they are desperate to earn money without doing any work (creating their own content).

      Hit them in the pocket (If possible), snap them back to reality.

        I was thinking the same.
        I have find out his contact number , his email, his home address. I want to call him and threaten him to remove the content in 1 day.

        My site is a business site and i am loosing potential customers each day due to his spam work.

    Don't sweat this too much...

    Go to this page: https://www.google.com/webmasters/to...ce?pli=1&&rd=1

    Fill out the form and Google will remove the entire site from their index within 1-2 days.

    The unfortunate part is that you'll have to include the url to every single copied post, so it might take you some time for you to do.

    If you have trouble filling out the form, PM me your url and the url that's copying from you and I'll show you what to write.

      I filled out this form in the morning but i just wrote my index page. your suggestion to include each and every url has been implemented now because i liked the idea :-)
