When creating AdWords campaigns, using lower-priced keywords, I believe it is possible to direct visitors to a landing page that has ads placed on them that pay higher than the keywords you bid on.

Optimization of the webpage that uses the more expensive keywords would have to be done very well. When the second lot of ads are clicked on, then of course you make a profit by pocketing the difference.

Does anyone actually use this system to make money? I've always been too concerned about the technicalities of PPC fineprint.

    It could work in theory, but in practice turning junk traffic into good traffic is difficult.

    Google are wise to this so don't think you can buy a heap of junk traffic and turn it into AdSense gold. I once thought about buying Kontera $0.01 clicks and making $0.50 AdSense clicks but I don't think it would have worked.

      That's done by people actually selling something, not trying
      to get an adsense click.

      I would never use adwords full-blown to get an adsense
      click.

      You can use it for getting more followers, readers, or branding.

      It makes little economic sense in the long run, if all you are
      after is an adsense click. Chances are, google will detect that
      all you are after is an adsense click. That's really not allowed
      with adsense. Branding, more readers, followers, or selling
      something on a page with adsense, is okay.

    Arbitrage game is OLD SCHOOL.. It won't work now unless you doing blackhat shitz, which, i have a friend doing it as made quite some money until he finally realize it wasn't long term. Time is more well spent building a long term business..

      Marc Ostrofsky, the New York Times best selling author, claims he knows people who have made millions from this 'OLD SCHOOL' technique. You have to know the rules of PPC inside out though. Maybe Mr Ostrofsky is full of .... But then?
