Couple of threads have already popped up about changes in serps but just in case there is confusion later - all indications are this is NOT yet the Penguin updates that everyone seems to be afraid off. Its just a Panda update

Panda Update 3.92 Rolling Out (Or Is It Panda 4.0 Time?)

At any rate Google's campaign to have us all talk more about small animals is still working.

No need to be scared its all going to be okay unless you use SenukeX, Xrumer, Ultimate Demon, scrapebox blasts, Article blasts , Bookmarks, spam forums or have one page crap sites.

Um You do? Okay..nevermind... Be afraid very afraid

    Now I am curious Mke, would you explain why bookmarks are going to get a person in trouble? A few bookmarks or a lot of bookmarks? Generated by the site owner, or social bookmarks?

      HI Jeannie I was talking about blasts like several thousand. That might not be bad if you have other quality links in abundance but frankly its not even worth the risk having hundreds because most bookmarks give you very little benefit anyway unless you are in a very weak serp.

        Thanks, I thought that is what you might have meant. I don't do a lot of backlinking at this time but I agree, a mix of good quality backlinks is the best way.

        I do get a small amount of bookmarks in my mix and for a weak serp they do work.
