Make your application as appealing as possible with a good site/blog to submit - but after that Google operates on Google's time schedule. Really nothing you can do to rush the process.

There are some people on Fiverr that offer this kind of services(Google Adsense account approval) very fast and without the obligation of ownership of a website.I am not sure though if this is a legitimate way to get an Adsense account.

Google just updated their Application process today. It now takes much longer to get an approved account, but at least you now have notifications and messages from them regarding steps in the process ...whereas previously you were feeling in the dark.

    yes, it takes longer.

gone were the days where u set up a new blog [3days old] and apply and u get accepted.

then slowly it went to 7 - 11 days. [not trying to promote 7-11 haha]

then now i think u need a well established clean looking professional site and maybe at least a few weeks to a month of history for traffic. then they will consider u.

This must be hugely dependent on a number of factors.. I can't remember how long my own adsense approval took (vague recollection of it being a few days) but today I watched as a client of mine applied and was somehow approved within the hour.

      I was a tad surprised!

The advice given by some of the posters above is solid; stick to the rules, have a nice clean looking site and some patience. Best of luck

Evening all. Just a quick question about Google Adsense. I signed up to them in the passed and got reject but I re applied a few months later. I have added the codes onto my website and they now appear fully on my website but still not had a full approval email yet after 4 "business days" its been over 7 days?!

How long did it take you to get approved?

I initially got denied for adsense because google said they were unable to review my site because my site was down or unavailable. So I reapplied and corrected my URL problem (so I thought). I got the initial partial approval message saying they still have to further review my site, but I can begin posting ads but they won't be live, so I did. A few hours later I started to see live ads showing up on my site before I got an official approval message. My account no longer had a hold on it either. Then I wake up the following morning and I get an adsense denial email saying again they were unable to review my site. But how is that possible when live ads were appearing on my site? What am I doing wrong? And since when did live ads start showing up on sites before getting approved?

I would re-submit. I wanted to prune out some poor-performing sites (they perform...just not so good but I'm not throwing free money away) out of my main Adsenes account just last week.

I removed the Adsense code from the site so no ads were showing and put in an application under my wife's name on Monday. Everything was approved by Wednesday and the new code was up and running on Thursday without a hitch.

If I put in an application after you and got approved before you, then that's a sign. You need more content. Make sure you have a privacy page and a contact page (with real contact info) prominently displayed on the home page. Double up the number of post...don't worry about trickling them out...just write 20 in a day. Then resubmit.

I recently got my adsense application rejected. The site is a amazon affiliate niche site. I guess that may be the reason why it was disapproved. The domain is less than 6 months old. Maybe another reason.

    Anyway, I have some questions:

    1) Is the approval thing done by a machine/bot/computer, or it's human review?

    2) I will apply for adsense again. Now, I have a very good authoritative site (my blog) that has nothing to do with IM and is about 4-5 years old. Lots of great content. I have not put ads because when I started it I wasn't into IM. And I know it's the kind of website and blog that Google loves. I'm going to try to get adsense approved on that. I'm sure there should be no problems.

I also think I should use a new email address and not the one I used to apply the first time when it was rejected.

Now, I really don't know how much google knows about me. When I do my IM websites, I'm always logged onto my gmail account. Wondering if that is bad - as if they eventually find one site they don't like, can they trace all websites I've worked on while logged onto my gmail account? I dunno if Google can trace that. If so, maybe I shouldn't use even any gmail account related to my normal one to apply for my adsense account. And maybe even go to another place and use a different ip address to start a gmail. Haha, am I being overly paranoid?

    3) When you get your adsense approved, will future sites also be approved automatically or will there still be reviews?

    Thanks.

I got approved with a 2 week old site that had four pages talking about various laptop bags & accessories (no affiliate links).

You must have Adsense compliant terms/privacy pages as well as a contact page.

Future sites - you add them into the interface or just slap ads on them and you're good. They do review some accounts later on though (many different reasons).

It's all about the country you are in.

      United States is probably quick.

India, Pakistan, etc. are probably under the 6 month rule.

Even then that's no guarantee of an account.

There's a lot more to it now than site age.

Not sure if they do anything manual, but if it's still
all by a bot, some can sneak in.

The approval process is only for the first site. All other sites, of course, must follow the same AdSense guidelines, or an account could be banned quickly.

They'll rarely review a site manually, it's usually done automatically by analysing the site content and click behavior.

Here's how to get an adsense account easily.

        1)Move to the United States.
2)Create some blog or website that has usefulness
and does not break any rules.
        3)Apply.

          Hi Ichthyander,

You can get adsense code through Hubpage or blogger provided you continue your blogging activity continuosly for at least 6 months before you get their approval. Obviously, rules are more stringent for Asian countries and you will have to work hard to earn one.

If you are not living in a banned country, i don't think hey reject you because of your country. Google is a big company and they only do their rules and if they work with your country, they approve you if you fit their other requirements like having quality site/blog with quality contents. So i suggest you to write quality articles on your blog and after your posts reached about 30, try registering on adsense again and i hope they approve your blog.

    Hi All,

Applied for a new adsense account, gave them the url for my website and got a temporary approval in about 48 hours. It has been over a month now and still haven't heard a thing nor have ads started showing up on my website. Any idea the normal time it takes?? Am I missing something??

    Thanks for any comments.

      Hi Eric,
It usually takes about a week, you can write them but I would go over all of their policies and make sure that your website meets all of them then just re apply.

It does matter how old your site is and if it gets any search volume.

      I hope that helps

Are you still getting the Messages, saying its still under review or temporary approved ?..

If not then, you need to create a ad and start copying to your site..!

But if still showing, there might be some technical problem on your site, better you check The Help section in Google adsense.. For more help..

Well, not all the points are required for adsense approval. But yes if you satisfy all the required points you are on safe side. Traffic is not much important and so are the posts. I got mine approved with mere 10 posts. But then you can't get adsense approved with 10 posts on blogger. You need to have a good domain authority.

I don't know what planet you are on. My payments have increased dramatically.

Google has had record profits each quarter, most all come from online ads.

+1 for quality content, especially if you're not from a Western country.

But remember there are alternatives out there. AdSense is for the lazy.

I just got AdSense disabled on one of my sites (overstepping the line into adult subject areas - if I wasn't a long time user with an AdWords a/c I might have been outright banned). So I stripped off the AdSense and put on some affiliate links. 3 hours later I've had my first sale. I have a sneaking feeling I'm gonna make even more without AdSense. The thing is that despite all those PhD's on staff, AdSense is pretty poor at demographics and targeting content. I still get red widget ads on my green widgets pages. Now I'm building my own ad manager that will put green widgets ads on green widgets pages. My earnings should soar, and I never have to live in fear of an AdSense ban.

I can recommend ALL of you check out the CPA offers forum, and get off your AdSense addiction.

I got my adsense approved more than 1 year ago. In the mean time all my sites were down for some months. When the site came to live online again, I found google stopped displaying adsense ads on the site. Logging into the account, i found the reason-"blank page ad displaying" - similar like this. Thats ok.

Now, as I didn't yet verify my account, so, google told me to do that. I'm in the process of that. My question is in this situation do I need to preserve the domain that I used to verify my account? My domain is expiring.

      No Privacy Policy (strike one).

Google/Adsense knows 100% that you didn't read the Adsense TOS that you already agreed to (If you applied for Adsense) otherwise you would have a Privacy Policy on your site before you applied for Adsense.

      This isn't rocket surgery.

You need a privacy policy as said above, also make sure you aren't doing anything suspicious that Google might flag. This would mean your site would never be accpeted for adsense.

I contribute a lot in the Adsense help forums; it will probably not get approved. It will be considered just another one of a zillion tech blogs. They are just not approving them any more.

    Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. Unfortunately, after examining your application, we can not currently accept the AdSense program.

We could not approve your application for the reasons given below.

    Issues
    - Site does not comply with Google policies

Can you plese provide some hints on what to change at the website or what may be the rejection issue?

    Thanks!

I'll be honest, the content is garbage. That is the very first sentence that I read on the site.

I got my adsense account approved but only for YouTube and blogpost/blogger. Is it possible to use a friends website (already adsense approved) or a way to rent a website that has traffic to get my adsense account approved for host sites?

    Thanks

As I know you can place Google ads on websites if those websites has nothing against Google TOS (I' have done that and had no problem) so it's important to make sure those websites are ready to place adsense and you may require to have a privacy policy page on every website before placing ads since you have mentioned "only for YouTube and blogpost/blogger" I'm not sure if Google has restricted placing ads on other sites instead of blogpost/blogger sites, in that case best thing to do is contact Google support and ask, so you'll have no issue in the future.

On some sites like Hubpages, you can link your Adsense account to show ads. But you'll need to let Google Adsense know what you are doing and then verify the site has permission to run your ads via the Adsense control panel.

I manage an online video games magazine called http://www.illgaming.in

We have been running this domain since more than an year (15 months).
    We publish content regularly.
    All our content is unique.

Yet, I've applied to AdSense more than 10 times and have always been rejected for the same reason all the time, which is:

"Site does not comply with Google policies"

I have tried all forms of troubleshooting from the official Google threads, but to no success.

    Please help.

Most images are mashed up photoshops
        OR
Image sent directly by publishers as assets to use in posts.

I think some old posts have images taken from Google Image Search. But these posts are about an year old.

Easy solution, start a simple Google blog, post 5-6 articles about something in the next 4 weeks. Then ask for approval on that blog. You will be approved and you can use the code also on other websites.

I am not sure it is a good idea to get a account with another blog first. If they have rejected you that many times, you must be doing something wrong. Putting the code on the site that got rejected would certainly put you in a lot of danger of losing your account.

I have no idea what it could be. Make sure you have covered all the obvious stuff like a contact us and privacy policy page. My experience has been that Adsense approval is easy.

As Google is rejecting your site saying "Site does not comply with Google policies" then obviously there is something that is wrong on your site. Read their policy carefully. We can just suggest you that only. BTW, your site looks good.

Try removing the Yahoo advertisements and submit your application again.
I know Google can be a bit shady in the terms when it comes to other contextual ads, or ads that look similar to Adsense.

It is always better to have your own blog/site but Google look kindly on Blogspot so you should have a great chance of being approved as long as everything is above board.

So much misinformation....getting a domain and wp just shows you
can pay over the internet. What magic is there in that?

Makes no difference whether it's blogspot or joe blow's site on
          any platform.

What matters is where you live, the history of your site, the value
          of your site, tos, etc.

Only google knows the answer to your question.

Like google is going to love wp over blogspot...sure...
has nothing to do with adsense approval.

Sure you can get an adsense account for blogspot like Paul said but
your country of residence and other information are going to determine whether you
will be considered by Google AdSense or not.

It's important to know that you will make more money if you get your own site and design it
the right way for high conversion while offering valuable information.
