      I assume you meant drive traffic and not content.

    My fav is organic. Feels good to see your site climb the serps and start to grow in traffic cause of it. Also fascinates me when I get traffic from random LSI's(related keywords) that I wasn't planning to rank for. Although for speed, paid traffic takes the cake. PPV/PPC/Solo's are great for testing and scaling when already profitable.

    I will reiterate what others have said. The single most important thing for organic traffic is good content. I have noticed that a SEOed post with good content appears in the first page rightaway and slowly climbs up with more comments and sharing. Just my 2 cents.

    I have great traffic right now for my authority site in progress. Most of it comes from a relevant forum and I'm a content producer first. I write a high quality how-to article that has one or two backlinks to a related Amazon product. I post it in the forum and immediately I get hundreds of pageviews. I only do this three times a month. Right now it's a high buying season for my niche. My focus is to find the best way to keep them coming after January.

    Check! You must have good contents for your viewers to read so they visit your site over and over again. No spun articles, I don't really think that helps.

    I use social media to generate traffic for my website, very very useful. But of course I still do organic SEO on it too. It is still best way to generate traffic.
