I'm not really a fan of buying domains and redirecting it to your site.

Anyway if you are buying domain it should be high PR and ensure the PR isn't fake.

Once you obtain them you can covert them to blogs for back links or create your site on them.

If you build quality-content for each domain, then it's a good idea to then provide a link back to your main site.

As previous members have posted, this is a good strategy, if you are willing to build a site at the domain names you will be buying and then having links in there that will point to your main money site. One way to do this is to build autoblogs on your domain names that have topics related to your main site's topic. This way, any traffic you get from your domain name will be highly targeted. The domains should all have some good content located there to pull in Google searches, etc...

  • Peregrine,

You have a very thoughtful idea here however I think you may be making more work for yourself than is needed and also endangering your SERP position. The main reason some companies buy up related domains (if they aren’t going to flip them) is to prevent competition from similar businesses (in terms of SEO) and to gain more presence in SERP’s.

While this tactic is effective sometimes, and while others may not agree, using multiple domains with the same or similar content on each one is seen as a spam strategy by search engines and is disapproved of. In Google’s own quality guidelines it mentions not using multiple domains, sub-domains, or domains with substantially duplicate content. The “more work” part comes in where, if you want to do this successfully, you will have to create unique content for each domain. Even this is sort of counterproductive because visitors to those domains would be redirected anyway.

Aside from search engines looking out for this strategy, if you have multiple websites to rank you will have to do ten times the SEO to get them to rank well. To do this effectively (not get noticed) you would have to have a substantially different back link profile for each site. You would have make different content, image files, and internal link structure for all the sites or you would run the risk of not having pages indexed because they are seen as duplicate content. I would suggest focusing on your one website and keeping the other domains on the back burner for now.

So if they are brand new domain names with no PR, but good targeting buying keywords, there not good?

because here is the thing, each of these long tail keywords has the potential to generate thousands of dollars per one single lead that converts, and they all have over 100 searches a month and they are low competition long tail keywords, so what im thinking is create several sites with these domains to try to get them in first spot of google for that particular phrase or keyword.

Thanks Shawn for ur contribuition .. I do understand that in that case i will have to create unique content for each one, but the thing is that i think i worth each keyword the SEO effort because
i calculate that if i can convert 6 lead per year on each one particular keyword i could be making more than 30 000 a year, (Remember each keyword has over 100 searches a month so is like 1200 seaches a year) if u have a convertion ratio of 1 percent and you brake 1200 in 2 = 600 ( calculating you get 50 percent of the traffic to your website once is in spot 1 for that search) u still can make those 6 leads a year.

I mean thats what i think, im just a newbie trying to get unblocked as i have several months struglin with paralisis by analisys so i had the action plan set up.

P.S.: I read the links u guys posted, and what im thinking is not redirecting just create different sites for each long tail keyword and see wich one converts the best and at the end of the year ill know wich to keep ...

Kinda sounds like you are trying to build your own "private network"...if I read your post right?

You can buy up domains that are expired (preferably high PR ones) and add content to them and link to your site. Theres a lot of other fine details to make this all work, but many people do this.

It's pretty much what a private network consist off, such as BMR. But your NOT suppose to let anyone else know about it. That's why it's called private! =-P
