Can my friend join Adsense by using his popular youtube channel ?

Hi guys,

My friend has quite a popular youtube channel on fitness and bodybuilding, Each video he makes is around 15 m ins and gets about 7,500 views very fast.

I`ve told him about putting adsense on them and he`s interested and i`d like to help

Can i ask you guys can he apply for an adsense account just using his youtube channel ?

I think he also has a website but its not really updated

Please help.

    I'm pretty sure he can, just tell him to go to the monetize feature, if I remember correctly it sure say some like "existing account" "create adsense account" . I think you have to click on "how will I be paid" .

      Thank you for the reply i have`nt spoke with me friend yet but is that the end of it you dont need a website to sign up for Adsense if you have a sound youtube channel ?
