Ok, so I have been working on some backlinks for about 2 weeks. Here is what I have done so far

Tier 1 - Web 2.0's: Squidoo, xanga, webs, blog, posterous, blogspot, wordpress, livejournal, tumblr
Tier 2 - article directories

I planned on using social bookmarking for tier 3, but because most of my articles from tier 2 are still pending I am not able to do that. Only 3 of the tier 1's have been indexed and only 2 of the article directories are indexed.

Can anyone pls give me advice on what I should do next and also does this seem like a good backlinking strategy? I have read many forums about backlinking and thats how I came up with this pyramid. How long does it usually take for these things to become indexed, should I try something else?

This is my first website and my first time doing backlinking so this is all really just a way for me get some learning experience so I can be prepared when I am ready to do a real project.
Thanks

In Tier 2 use Wiki Backlinks to Tier 1 and For Tier 2 use 10000 Auto Approve (AA) Blog commenting through Scrapebox, that would be called Tier 3 and try to use service "Lindexed" for faster backlinks indexed.

Don't waste too many backlinks and time building huge link wheels on tier 2, 3, 4, etc.

Big sites like web2.0 don't need a lot of backlinks pointing to them as they'll get indexed pretty fast if you have a 400+ word properly written article on them.

Focus on building links to your money site, but be careful not to link from irrelevant or poor quality sites.

Create more varied links. I mean, not only Blogs 2.0 in tier 1, article directories in tier 2, blog comments in tier 3, etc.

Try to do more natural. In each tier use a main type of links, but also some others.

You should try squeezing in some guest posts from blogs in your niche that have page rank, age and traffic. The way you're setting up things, you have lots of low quality links but none that will actually transfer page rank and trust.

You could also try researching Link Wheels as they still work great
