Hi I have an exact match domain name that get 74,000 Global and 40,500 local monthly searches but I decided not to use it. There isn't any content on the site it's just parked. I want to sell it but don't know what it's worth, or even if its worth anything just because of the exact keyword match. Any ideas?

What's the domain name? I might be interested but would need to research it to make sure it's a commercial keyword and really 45000 exact match searches

I'd start by looking at the value of the potential clicks if
they were purchases on one of the PPCs.

Need more information, domain name length, age, etc. CPC, Competetion on page one, etc. to determine a value. That's just shooting in the dark giving you a price like that.

Are you sure you have 40,500 local searches?

Look at your keyword in the adwords keyword tool under exact and phrase.(uncheck broad)

Then subtract the amount in exact from the amount in phrase..that is the real traffic amount your keyword gets.

Now after doing those steps what does your keyword domain get?

eg. Best hotel chicago says it has 14,800 searches in broad, and most people if they had that domain would get excited thinking it has that many searches.

It has closer to 40 searches a month.

Often people think their domain has lot's of searches, but in reality get's next to nothing and then wonder why they are ranking #1 for that term and getting a trickle of traffic and think that people just were not clicking on your listing, unaware that the traffic never was there in the first place.

The term actually only receives 1300 exact local searches monthly and has virtually no commercial intent. As such, there isn't a whole lot of value attached to it.

You could probably still sell the domain If we new the niche & does the domain have any backlinks or direct traffic.

Sure, I'm interested, but I need to know what size it is, and is it round or square, and also does it have any commercial intent? :p

I've spent the last 59 months building 412 MFA sites. Each site averages 8 cents per day...I said average, some make up to 17 cents per day, PASSIVE INCOME! This income allows me to live comfortably and buy ANY flavor Jolly Rancher or Skittles I desire. Don't give in to fear, it CAN be done!
