Hi ,

Can someone explain to me how Pop Up & Pop Under Traffic is triggerd?
This is what it says, but I don't believe it.

Pop-up traffic is a result of someone clicking on a pop up window that contains
an ad for your web site or a pop up/under window that contains your entire web
site.

I thought it was triggerd by url's and keywords?

Anyone?

    Hey E,

    Yes. People install an adware supported software. The adware monitors the browsing activity. You, as an advertiser with the adware company you can pay for pop-ups or pop-unders whenever someone searches or visits one of the websites you specified.

    There are also a couple of companies that have an agreement with a lot of websites to display their pop-ups and pop-unders. You can usually target by category with these kind of companies.

    You get a lot of traffic, but the problem will be they don't really want to see pop-ups and you'll have a very tough time fighting the people's urge to close to pop up as soon as it pops.
