Is anyone still making money these days with Adsense....enough money to quit their day job?

I know a few folks that are making a decent monthly income with Adsense....but they have seen their earnings decrease over the past 6 months.

And these guys have about 30-40 small niche sites that they need to keep track of. Some are winners and some are duds.

For me personally...I shifted my energy and focus away from Adsense quite some time ago...simply because it seemed like I was putting in too much work and effort....for little results ...in money...coming back into my bank account.

While I still have a few sites out there bringin in piddly Adsense clicks...I wanted to hear from other warriors who are still making money this way and if they have seen any drop in earnings.

Your thoughts?

I'm sure a lot of people are, but 0.0000000001% make enough to actually quit their jobs.

Adsense is still working well for me but the constant fluctuations in earnings is an annoyance!

with google constantly penalizing people who are earning from Internet. I won't suggest going full on adsense. it's like putting a lasso on your neck and waiting for Google to pull it. it's just a matter of time

They don't penalize people who earn from the internet, they penalize people who break their terms of service. It is a billion dollar company and didn't get there by being complete idiots.

Yes. But it depends how you play the game...

If you're doing micro niche sites, you can't just build 2-4 and just live off that forever. You have to build 30-40 each and every month and accept you will take loses in the process due to Google algorithms.

If you're doing authority sites, they will outlive most google changes, but require a herculean work to get them off the ground.

No matter what you would choose, yes, there's a lot of money to be made with Adsense if you play the game right.

Here is the thing, if you play the game right.. the algorithm doesn't really effect you and in fact helps you when it cleans out the junk in front of you.

Adsense still works, in fact it works even better because of re-marketing. Decent content (same tune as SEO) is needed more than ever.

However I couldn't give up the day job, it only pays 2 tanks full of diesel for the car per month. Not going to paint the town red on that.

I've just come to IM World 1 month ago. And I choose Adsense is the first place to start. I only earn 1.5 usd in last 2 weeks. Maybe I not put enough valuable content to my website. Still trying!

      My thoughts,
After penguin effect. I have problem for Adsense income decreased.
      - My traffic loss from mini site of Adsense project
      - Over 80% of mini site traffic down
      - 10% of mini site De-indexed=0 from GG.

Today, I still hard work from Adsense by authority website, but plan for this project need more time over 8 months.

I thinks, Adsense never die, but not easy for newbie.

Considering the amount of saturation with content websites and Adsense, I would think twice about using this as a primary tactic if I were new to trying to earn online.

Impossible to saturate the net, considering there's billions of niches/sub-niches.

Sure, but the types of keywords that earn decent money are saturated with other internet marketers. Do you know what the number one Chrome extension is? AdBlock.

If you have something really amazing to add to the web, make a website and slap Adsense on it. If you're launching Yet Another Website, I'm not as confident.
