This is highly strange and very unfair. I only got accepted 48 hours ago and only put 3 ads on my entire site just over 24 hours ago. This afternoon I disabled 2 ads in order to change them and suddenly this evening I have a message stating this. I haven't even had any clicks - haven't got any un-toward stuff on my account - literally nothing!

Any explanations? I've send an appeal in.

I think my first advice would of been take a deep breath and not appeal so fast, you only got one shot at it so might want to make it count. From my own personal stand point I am dropping Adsense at the end of this month.. it is becoming painfully obvious I can do much better with less headaches.

Thanks for the advice. Can you tell me where you are going to get your ads then? Is there anything that's pretty much identical to Adsense?

For the moment I am switching over to BuySellAds, this gives me more control over whats going on and also a higher percentage of the money as well. There is clearly a lot of money to be made with internet advertising so I am taking steps, learning the business and figuring out how to get more of it without losing control. There are also a few cases I have noticed and using the advertising space myself for promoting my own CPA stuff to increase the profit potential even more. The idea behind this was kind of like running my own business but I found working with Google Adsense felt more like being their pet rather then a business partner.

          That's not how BSA works.

With BSA's your either buying or selling traffic (banner space).

It might be, really have not checked out to much on this new side of things. The one thing I liked was that I knew some of the websites they have and are actually more legit then inflated traffic. At this point in my web building it answers all my needs, more control over whats happening on the advertising side and 100% control over what happens on my website. I run several online applications that run smoother under iframes and such, based on my discussion with Adsense people they have some issues with this even if no ads are on the same page. I also write some gaming rules on slavery, I had to remove them quite a while ago but now can put them back up.

So I would rather leave Adsense on my terms, then their terms.

            75% of nothing is nothing...

I'll take 68% of something any day.

Some people dream of dirt, some dream of gold. I do understand not everyone can handle life outside of Adsense but I think I can, plus there are some things I want to do with my website that go against the ToS. It comes down to providing better content for my visitors or providing a site Adsense likes.

Hi - thanks Shirley. It seems that they also have some sort of vendetta out for me. Im just wondering personally if you have found any decent alternative to using google adsense? If so can you send me in the correct direction? Thanks.

Thanks for the sharp reply again.

I have been looking over at infolinks and a couple of others. I tried Adbrite but it sounded different, Im not interested in PPC or CPA I just wanted the simple use of copying a code from a site and having it run suited ads on my site. I just worry that sites from the USA and less known sites offering a similar service to Adsense are less reliable.

I took a look at Ad$Gadget but they are actually more geared towards the user action then the click. Which I don't have an issue with but if I am going to go that route, then I would have better results doing the landing page myself and having complete control over the system and profits. I view them more of a lazy person's CPA then an Adsense alternate.

I have also tried Adbrite, I am using it on a second site I am building. I am not impressed by the ads nor the results. Granted traffic isn't great on that site so I don't measure it by income generated.

I am using infolinks from past few weeks , not getting enough money , or i will say that no money at all, adsence is really making me dissapointed by rejecting my applications everytime. i joined this blogging business just for adsence and they are not accepting me , what the hell.

I joined it for Adsense too but only because at that moment it was all I was aware of, thankfully I started hanging around here and learn this world is much bigger and pays better then I ever imagined.

99.9999999% of appeals for this banning fail. Its based on one of two things. Firstly, a statistical analysis of the behavior of those who click on the links being well outside the accepted norms ... ie its useless traffic for the adwords advertisers who pay for it. Unless you can explain why your traffic was bad and outline what you have done to protect the adwords advertiser in the appeal, then it will get an automated appeal failed.

Alternatively, the banning associated with this notice is a serious policy breach such as a previous banned account.

You may think its unfair, but how do you think those who pay for the adwords think?

That is a serious fraud. You agreed in the terms and conditions that you agreed to that you can only ever have one adsense account. Consider yourself lucky that all they did is ban you!

I'll try some more amazon - Im actually trying to set up quite a complicated amazon store as we head towards christmas, on my sports site and so on. Thanks everyone for the help. Regarding Ads, I'll be using Infolinks as it seems there's some sort of vendetta against my account.

Creating a new account again will eventually lead to another ban. Better go for some other alternative. There are hundreds of alternatives available online. Spend a little time searching and go for the one which suits you.

      Great info there....

There are actually tons of alternatives that pay higher but the problem is the ads are so bad and unappealing it never gets touched. I started venturing into CPA and I have found myself to be a lazy idiot for not making the switch sooner.

Yeah, sometimes Google does make it sound odd.. almost like saying.. We decided not to pay you this month so we took a look at your site and found a few violations. Good luck and thanks for choosing Adsense.

Let me state I don't think they do this but does add a little humor to it all, glad I walked away

I find it hard to believe they were just a-sitting around going through their records. They usually take mass action that wipes out tons of people at a time.

In my opinion they're closing down all the small revenue publishers. Why? Because they cost too much to administer and they DON'T click ads. If you close their accounts they can go back to clicking and Google can deal with the big boys, which is what they'd rather do any way.

I am completely unsure to be honest, while I don't actually buy into that it is also one of those things that wouldn't shock me either. I realized I was at the losing end of a system when an ad I got paid $1.12 pays $75 on Commission Junction. One of the key things I like now is that I no longer have ads on my site that don't belong, I was getting Dodge Car ads on a gaming site.

Taking this next step just made sense to me and for me, I spent so much time trying to work out a system to get content ranking well. Why not spend the same effort to make it pay the most too.

The details count. Don't neglect making a 'sales funnel' for any of your pages that have good traffic. There's no taking any Google traffic for granted any more. Try and collect emails and follow up with all of them.

I don't do the email collecting yet, I am seriously just starting with this side of things and tons to learn. I do have some plans for it though and how I want to implement it as well. So many things to do, only one person with 24 hours in a day to do them.. *laughs* I love this kind of stuff though.

I had a 24+ hour shift yesterday, wouldn't trade it for an offline 9-5. When your interested in what your working on, it doesn't feel like work.

I had a similar problem. I was making around $35 a day from Adsense but although I was well within all their policies they seemed to take issue with my account. I think it was because my CTR was like 25% but all my ad placements were legit. I think I was just getting such a high CTR because the ads being generated well so well suited to my traffic.
