Guys I have no idea whats going on but I need to take advantage of this. I am REALLY begining to think that google LOVES blogspot blogs. I was on page 4 about 3 months ago, then started a blog.

Every 2 weeks I began filling up the blog with unique, high quality content. But I barely posted on it. Just twice a month.

Along with that I got myself about 15 high pr backlinks with scrapebox. I made sure to write quality comments too like people said. Then I have about 9 videos on youtube that have been there for a while (at least a year ago I put them up).

For a while the site was bouncing around the SERPS wildy. And now it has stablized on the LAST position of page 1 after this last update.

My question is HOW do I get this site up higher in the SERPS? Do I need to kick up what I'm doing now? Should I start writing articles too?

If I can get this site up 6-7 more positions I think I can start working on my conversions. The keyword I'm targeting gets 3,600 searches a month. The people looking for the keyword have SERIOUS problems in their home. So these jobs can convert for a lot of $$$.

I NEED ADVICE from the experts!

Thanks WF - Red

Man I feel terrible for all the brand name businesses that were swept off page 1 & 2. Thats just horrible.

I was focusing on SO MANY competitors before this update and its like google did a magic trick and they're all gone now. As awesome as this is for me, it makes me anxious too. I guess thats just the google game.

Anyway, I'm going to give Yukon a message thanks for the recommendation!

ps. If anyone wants to answer this question I'd appreciate it. But is it now pointless to try ranking non-EMD websites? It seems to me like all the folks who have EMD domains, or even half match domains (with just 1 keyword) are all the sites that rank now.

I better start buying up a lot of domains now if this is the new game google's playing.

pss. its NOT a blog thats ranking but a wordpress.com just so people know. The blog I'm just using for backlinks.

Congrats! I've seen the same with Typepad blogs, granted they cost $15/month but they rank very well for some reason.
