Exact Match Domain Algo Update
- SEO |
A couple of days ago, Google released another update to it's algorithm that hammered exact match domains. I have a few sites that were affected and many other are reporting the same issues.
I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there with an exact match domain that is still holding a strong position in the serps?
I am hoping that this thread will serve as a educational outpost for those with EMD's.
In case you want to check it out for yourself, take a look at Matt Cutts twitter update on the 28th:

and here is a decent article. Looks at some of the comments. People have been reporting that they have lost 100% of traffic.
Google Drops "Low Quality" Exact Match Domains From Search Results
If you EMD is still holding steady, maybe you can share with the forum so we can dissect it to learn how to improve existing EMD's as a whole.
