How much content is enough?

Ok, so I applied to Adsense today and was denied for "insufficient content." The blog I used to submit the application has 11 articles and 4 videos. I would think that would be enough content.

DOH! I believe I just realized what I did wrong. It's a PLR blog and I didn't change any of the dates on any of the posts. They're all 2011!!:p

Yeah, I'm a newbie.

But I'm gonna post this anyway to see if I'm on the right track.

I'm curious to know peoples' opinions on how much content one needs to apply.

But this does lead me to other questions:

Can I just change the dates and resubmit?
Does anything get saved in a file or something?
Will the resubmit be compared to the original, thus
"AHA!!! He just changed the dates! REJECTED!!!!!!!!"
Just trying to learn.

    It is dependent on what is the use of that content that means where you are using that content in article submission then it should be around 400words to 450 words. If it is about the content of the web page then it should be 500 words per page but there is no restriction for that.

    I got denied adsense as well for not enough content and I had 100 articles. I think Google uses that for an excuse if they feel like your site is a MFA site.

    It has to be unique. Back then, I can easily get approved with just a five posts. I guess they have been a little stricter because of so many people applying for Adsense but not delivering the clicks and conversions that advertisers need.

    At least post 50 pages unique content. Google loves content instead of wallpapers and videos.

    For most article 300 words are enough. If you are writing a lot of articles writing 700 pages treatise can be an arduous process. Write engaging content so you are not hit by high bounce rate.

      Your site also has to serve the needs of the audience you're targeting. It's more than the number of words.

    There are lot of factors and now a days google is very strict in provinding new adsense accounts.
    1. Have unique content on your blog and your blog shouldn't deal with controversial topics.
    2. Write 15 to 20 articles with 500 or more words because it lets google understand that you are providing the valuable information.
    3. Build few backlinks in normal or manual way.

    Wait for few days and then apply for adsense account.

    The content on the webpage you are targeting for the preferred keywords in the search engines is very much important as per the policies of SEO link building. It is recommended that the content of the web page should be at least 500 words and it should include most of your targeted key phrases 2-3 times with a <strong> html tag in it.

    You should put all articles unique written by your own or any professional plus it should be popular so that you can generate a lot of traffic. Adsense is always giving some excuses so make it perfect.
