Webmaster Tools - Remove URLs

Two days ago I used the Remove URLs option in Webmaster Tools to remove a blogger blog. Today, I looked at it to check the status, but it says;

No URL Removal requests

Does this mean that the blog has been removed or not? When I typed part of the blog content in quotes in Google it still appears so it seems like the blog is still indexed.

When you go to the Remove URLs section, you have to change the drop-down box at the top to Show "All", in order to see the status of past removal requests.

Just noticed that. It says "Removed" when I select show all. However, when I search for part of the blogs content in quotes in Google the blog shows up. Does this mean that it's OK to put the content on another site or do I need to wait until it's no longer showing in Google when I type part of the content in quotes.

@nest28. Yes it did look like that apart from the URL was shown twice, so it looked like:

      http://medicaltechniciancareers.blogspot.com/
      http://medicaltechniciancareers.blogspot.com

Also, it didn't say "Site removal" in the column. It said "Web page removal".

Just wait until it's gone. How long ago did you put in the request? It usually takes a few hours to a day or so for actual removal.

I'm guessing you're switching to a new (brandable) domain from an exact match ?

I put in the request 2 days ago.

The blog isn't on a domain currently as its just on blogger. Im moving it to a WordPress site.

Yes, I typed in the root domain when submitting the removal request.

So, do you advise that I only post the content to the new site once it's not showing in the SERPs at all? When I type part of the content in quotes, the blog appears in the SERPs.

You should be fine, once the removal is completed the new site will be the only one in the serps with your content.

Have you any idea why it said Web page removal instead of Site removal as shown in your screenshot. Could this mean that it has only actually removed the main page of the blog from the serps?

Normally it says that when you enter a page from you site, instead of the root domain. Entering the root domain should remove all instances of your site.
Cancel the request and resubmit it, and make sure it says site removal.

The status column says Removed now so it's too late to cancel the request. Is it still worth resubmitting despite this?

Check to see if your site is still indexed, if it is, than resubmit the request.

I typed the root URL of the blog in Google and it shows the main blog URL and also the other posts for the blog. So it seems the removal request hasn't removed even the main URL.

When I enter the URL for removal it shows 3 options:

Remove page from search results and cache
            Remove page from cache only
            Remove directory

I already chose the first option "Remove page from search results and cache" when I last submitted the removal request. Is that the correct option to choose?
