Internal linking on Amazon sites?

A question to Amazon associates. For review sites post Penguin, is it a good idea or not to link each review post back to the main page of the site.
From what I've seen in the SERPs post Penguin, most review sites on page 1 do not link their inner pages to their homepage. Maybe that is just a coincidence though and not related to the ranking.
