So I'm off Google....

What do you know my website is not on Google anymore (I'm not talking about not being on the front page anymore, I'm talking about gone, completely from the index).

Good thing is that I use Google for advertising, so I was able to get a fairly quick response from them around what the reason is.

Problem with Google is they can't be very specific (anyone dealt with them). Basically they told me I was breaking their policies, namely the following:

- Cloaking
- Keyword Stuffing
- Doorway Pages

Now remember the guy that gave me this information didn't have a lot of authority, and I don't know how much he really knows. What I do know, and what was very frustrating, is that he never gave me specifics.

Let me be very clear.

www [dot] sportsautogroup [dot] com [dot] au

does not seem to have any of those things (perhaps I'm wrong?) and yet it's totally wiped from the Google index?

So what to do.

Please, oh please tell me what I'm doing wrong so I can fix it and get it back into Google's books.

Thanks
#google

Ask Google to reconsider if you feel that you have not violated any rules - Reconsideration requests - Webmaster Tools Help

Although its an option to consider but not reliable as matt cutt once said that it is very unlikely that we may reconsider the penalize website.

Hence, you are left with creating a new domain.

    Hope this helps

Blimey. That looks to be a nice site - very nice site. It is getting to be more and more scarey to deal with Google by the hour.

Your site is OK, but that's not the problem. The problem is Google's automated classifiers. If they find 100 sites with spam characteristics, and your site has the same characteristics, then you're gonna tumble down the rankings, or out of the index altogether.

Maybe your site looks like some spammy car blogs or something.

I think you're doing great stuff with your social things - just do more of that and get away from depending on Google organic rankings. I've had the same thing with my own software site. I don't even rank for my own product name!

    Hi guys!

Thank you for all the help. It is very sad to find Google is very unhelpful in this instance. As much as their customer service is low we definately need to be in their search index. Hopefully I can talk to someone that has some authority and understands what needs to be done.

Until then we're out of luck.

(Thank you again for all your helpful responses).

The basic HTML of your index page is a real mess. You load so much J/S and you haven't properly optimized any of the basics. Looking at your code, I'd be likely to expect some sort of webmastering error on your part.

Your site might look good and truthfully it does look decent but something I noticed is you have very little content when it comes down to it.. It appears like you tossed a few articles within a short period of time and walked away. I can't comment about the cloaking because I am not going to go looking into the source code and it looked really bad at first glance.

When I see sites like that I have to ask, why does it exist?

Your website seems quite good and working, but you have done lots of stuffing in the title section of the website may be its the reason of penalty. Change title of the all web pages and resubmit your updated sitemap to Google webmaster. After a few hours you can check your webmaster tool for further information.

Yes of course these methods Cloaking, doorway pages and keyword stuffing can get your sites banned but if you have done things right you should contact Google and ask them to reconsider.

I'm not sure but I think you might have some copyright infringements on your site.
Someone might have filed a dmca for content and images on your site.
Look closely what might have made the problem.
