Question about Keyword stuffing / on-page seo

Greetings fellow warriors:

I am working on some on-page seo for a client with a natural health blog and the author has been posting a "keyword" section with a list of related keywords at the bottom of each post.

From my studies of SEO, I had learned that such practice may be seen as keyword stuffing according to Google search algorithm and wanted to check with some of you more experienced SEO professionals.

I am attaching a sample of the section in question from one of the recent blog posts:

-----
Keywords

Runningraw, raw vegan athlete, Tim Van Orden, Woodstock Fruit Festival 2012, raw vegan, low fat raw vegan, raw food diet, rawfood diet, vegan raw, live food, raw eat, living food diet, vegan athletes, vegan runners, raw vegan runner, favorite smoothie recipe

I appreciate any advice and input on this.

Thanks.

If you're taking clients, you should know this. Take it off.

I agree if you are charging for your services you should know this, but in any case an answer may be helpful to other Warriors who stumble across this thread.

The fact of the matter is that POSITIVE on on page factors relating to keyword usage are not very powerful and have almost no bearing on search engine ranking, negative factors may be more powerful and damaging.

In this case the rule of thumb is that, if its not useful for the user, it shouldn't be there. By the looks of it, this is useless and stupid information for a user to see, maybe a couple of the best keywords with links to relevant information or articles about them to further explore the topic may be helpful.

This kind of ridiculous SEO strategy is ineffective, a waste of time and potentially harmful to rankings.
