Can anyone help me in this regard on how to get it back ?

Get links from high PR pages with a low OBL count. You lost whatever decent links you had to the site == boom PR gonezo.

You probably stopped backlinking from quality sources and using social bookmarks. I've gotten to PR3 within 45 days by using almost exclusively links from a private blog network I'm a member of...

    3 links a day from PR1-Pr6 websites...

Get more backlinks from better sources with HIGH PR. More than likely your backlinks are gone and thus, you lost your PR.

Is this your money site? Then who cares about PR if it's getting traffic and converting is all that matters. PR is a joke. The only thing is matters for is if you're using it for your own private blog network. In that case build more links.

  • You beat me to it twilight, PR is 100% pointless if you are getting traffic. In my humble opinion, PR is a sale tools if you want to sell a site that needs extra credentials, not something to worry about when it comes to your traffic and rankings.

Most people like to get PR as a badge of honour.

I've often pointed out that most people don't have a good answer as to why they want to increase their PR.

if you want to regain that lost PR, you should increase your OBL by backlinking. constant backlinking to quality sites can regain the lost PR of your domain, hence its not that important if your site is a money site as per twilightofidols and randomsoftwaregroup said.
