How many of you effected with Google new EDM update?

    Most of my thin sites were destroyed completely. My good thick sites seem ok though.

    I had a non emd site move up and a few emd sites drop off the map. One was in the top 3 for the last 2 years, usually number 1 or 2. It is a great site, loads of content and better than the other sites that appear now for the search term. Half of the sites that show up on page one now are not really relevant to the search. But oh well, nothing I can do about it but to suck it up and drive on. At least it is still number 2 in Bing.

    I think it's .3%, which is .003 of pages, which is still a ridiculously huge number considering how many pages are indexed per site and how many sites have little to no actual content while in index (eg. parked domains with backlinks).

    That being said, all my sites and clients' sites have gone up since this past weekend. Love this update. It seems like a quality refresher.

    Just keep on doing good, quality work and you'll increase your rank in SERP and PR.
