Hi,
What would you consider high click rate on your ads? Currently, I have 0.8% to 1% click rate on my website.

And I have some doubts, does it really matter to the click rate if I put text ads only or text+image ads? Also, do you really try hard to hide ads by blending them to your site content?

No 2 sites or niches will be the same, you are just a little below the industry average so might want to play with different kind of ads in different places to see what gets you the best results.

if you have too high a clickthrough it will seem unnatural, 1% is good, and as a standard considerd to be a decent conversion for ads on a site, you can increaes it by playing with placement, and colour options,
blending helps but you need to show that they are ads, and not pageson your site - misdirection will get you banned
another thing you cantry is delay showing ads, or having them follow in your sidebar as people scroll down the page, this can be good as they wont lose your important links, and they will notice the ads after seeing them for more time,
    just some ideas!

It depends on a lot of factors....

Mainly the type of ad and Niche

On amazon products I usually get a CTR of 7-10 %

With Clickbank products I see anywhere from 5-30 %

With Adsense I get about 5%

I had markethealth on one website and it was about 10%

Everyone's answer is going to be different

Yes, it seems you are all right - this much depends on the page content and niche.. However I have never tired changing colors - still using the default ones so this might increase it a bit

In the 90s average click through rate was 3% now the average is 0.1 to 0.3% percent. It is more for mobile ads but nevertheless you are doing good.

I usually have 0.6% on adsense, do you think that if we have a high CTR we may be banned?

I believe google look suspicious on the sites with over 5% rate or even more, I am not sure if 1 or 2 percents are considered high.

High CTR can lead towards ban by google. I have personally suffered from it. My account was banned by adsense for high CTR.

Optimize you adds according to site's links color, background color after that you will get high CTR.

I am not of this, as I do not use any color scheme, and some of my friends are using it to blend with the content, but get the same rate actually
