Websites Going Offline For 3 Months - Questions

O.k So I am planning on changing my hosting providers but I would take a couple months off from internet marketing/Seo, thus I will just backup my websites take then offline...

Now my websites will do offline for at least 3 months will there be a problem with ranking it back for its main keywords?

And also will it lose it's PR?

    It can be the cause of loosing PR I think but put a big offline message in your main page at least 1 month before going offline. It will be a plus point for you.

      , I guess I will have to let it stay online then... I haven't done much work to it but it is ranking pretty well and has a PR2 with a few links...

      That is true, if your sites was down even for a one week you can lose everythig. Leave websites online!

    If you have already paid for your existing host (as most charge yearly) why don't you let them stay on the old host for 3 months and then change hosts when you're back.

    This way you won't have spent anything and there would be no reason to take the sites offline.
