When you're doing keyword research, what's the minimum amount of monthly searches you look for in exact matches? For a site who's primary revenue is adsense what's a minimum number? 1000? 2000? 10,000?

Just focus on maximum not minimum.Minimum can never lead you anywhere.

You can target more keywords with low search volume as well as low competition, if you target high search keyword their competition is also high, so i just you that target 10 low competitive keywords instead of targeting 1 high competitive keywords.

I am agree with you. You also take care of relevancy of the keyword with your business because anyhow you have to pay to google for every single click. So if you choose only keyword with the search volume instead of keyword relevancy it will increase your PPC budget.....

That depends about keyword value. Sometimes it is better to have 1000 visitors per month than 10 000. If keyword has a big cost per click - 3-4 $ than 1000 exact searches per month is is good enough.

I don't really like adsense. If you promote affiliate products with just over 3000 excat searches you can easily make a good $500/m per site.
