Hello Friends,

Suppose I post my comment on the forum in PR 8 or PR 8+ website and get the signature link then that link will have the weight same as PR8+ or it would be only PR0+?

    If you had a link on the actual page with PR8 and it wasn't a nofollow link and there weren't tons of other links, then some of that link juice would flow to your site.

      Domain ranking is useless. The backlink weight depends on the page rank of that specific page.

      A domain can have PR 8 , but if a new page on that domain has PR0 then your backlinks on that new page is considered to be from a PR0 .

    The effect backlinks can have on your page rank depends on the page rank of the site your building it from. Domain ranking is of no use.

    If the domain have got good ranking, that site's pages can have good ranking too. Even a new page have chances to get good PR. Take every chance to get backlinks if the site is good.

    That real estate sig you have here will just be a pr n/a link which is not worth a dime. they say page rank for a reason.its not the website that has PR. its probably the index page that has pr 8. so stop spamming!!!

    According to me a domain can have PR 8 but if a answer posted by you is a new page on that domain has PR0 then your backlinks on that new page is considered to be from a PR0 .

    It depends from which page you are getting the link juice.The Pr you see is the home page's PR.Internal pages have different PR according to their link worth.You cannot get a PR 8 from any site unless your site too has some value and that page also have a good PR.

        I think what hes trying to say is that anyone with a PR 8 site isn't going to host your link if your website doesn't have good enough content.

          yeah that makes a lot more sense but what i actually got from that phrase is that you need to have a good site to suck up all link juice from that site and that page needs to have good PR. :p
