Innerlinking to another Site that's also mine?

Hi all, so I have this site where I write about "power tools".

I'm also the marketing manager for this construction company, where I also manage their site.

Can I inner link their site to my site? Or is that a "red flag" ? It's relevant I would think.

    It's perfectly fine to interlink sites you control - I do it all the time.

    The only issue here I can see is whether or not you have permission from your employer to do it. I have strict rules with my employees and subcontractors that specifically forbid them from creating self-serving links without permission.

      Oh but it is relevant. Construction + tools I'm sure is relevant. What if the person on the site was like "Damn, this tool is amazing I'll buy it. Oh wait, they provide designs and construction? Okay cool. I'll buy this tool for my bathroom and then I"ll have them work on something big for my house."
